Gregorys Guest House is a small and friendly B&B with 4 stars and a silver award, located on Bishopthorpe Road. The nearby riverside walk will take you into the City of York within 15 or 20 minutes, great for those who like jogging and cycling. It is also only a 20 minute walk to the University, the Opera House and the Barbican Theatre. Free onstreet parking is available, allowing you to leave your car at the guest house and explore the beautiful City of York.
Rowntree Park is great for all ages and one not to be missed - it's really lovely. There are many local shops nearby, allowing you to grab any last minute purchases, including Cycle Heaven for those who enjoy cycling, and several local Delis selling local produce for those who love food. Breakfasts have been recognised by Deliciously Yorkshire and are made using locally sourced ingredients, home-made breads (even gluten and wheat free) and home-made jams.
